The ACPO CSE Action Plan (Word document, 266KB) was created in response to the Government’s CSE Action Plan and a thematic assessment of CSE by ACPO and CEOP – ‘Out of Mind, Out of Sight’. The Action Plan was launched to forces in November 2012 and revised in October 2014 to reflect the findings of certain key national reports.
The action plan aims to raise the standards in tackling CSE within forces so that the police service are providing a consistently strong approach to CSE and protecting vulnerable young people from this crime.
