Benefits management
This guidance has been developed to support forces and associated organisations in understanding and applying benefits management principles in a policing context. It will:
- outline the steps that police forces and associated organisations should take to capture and report on benefits when implementing organisational or operational change
- standardise the language used in police benefits identification and management
- signpost users to relevant resources, frameworks and supporting guidance
It is written for police officers and staff who work in any operational and organisational change context, including:
- organisational change units
- information technology implementation teams
- operational leaders driving transformation
- those responsible for reporting on savings and efficiencies
- senior responsible officers
- project managers
- business owners
