Modern vehicles, with their increasing complexity, present new challenges for investigators, whether dealing with internal or externally broadcast data. The course enables trained officers to act as gatekeepers for data acquisition, ensuring proper tasking of vehicle technicians and guiding investigators on vehicle recovery considerations prior to forensic deployment.

Qualification eligibility

Learners should be in the role of digital media investigator or investigators who have responsibilities for digital investigation as part of their role. Experience with vehicle forensics/telematics is useful but not required.
