We're listening to you and making changes
Every day in policing brings new challenges. Officers, staff and volunteers work tirelessly to keep people safe, balancing extensive knowledge with swift decision-making and empathy towards the public on a daily basis.
In recent months, policing has reacted quickly and professionally to protect the public during the coronavirus crisis. We’re proud to have worked together with policing to help ensure a rapid and effective policing response, and will continue to support policing through recovery with our COVID-19 briefings and resources.
We’ve been listening to feedback from frontline officers, staff and volunteers and we’re changing the way we work.
We are here to support everyone in policing, regardless of rank, grade or role. We want you to be able to access the support we offer, when and where you need it, so we can continue to work together to keep people safe.
Our new website is a key part of the changes we’re making. We’re simplifying access to our online resources, so you can find all the information you need quickly and easily. We’ll be adding new content and developing the website over the coming months.
Launching our new website marks the start of lots of exciting changes. We’re also making our materials clearer and easier to use, upgrading our learning delivery and providing more opportunities to capture your views and contributions, in order to develop better products to help you in your day-to-day work.
We want to be much more open about how we take comments and feedback on board, and how we use these to shape our work and priorities. We’ll continue to work with everyone in policing, through consultations, users groups and workshops, and I encourage you to provide your feedback to help us to continue to improve.
