The recruitment process should be set up to ensure fairness and forces have got better in understanding reasonable adjustments – make sure you raise any concerns beforehand. From my own experience, preparation and confidence are crucial. Knowing what to expect is therefore helpful. Think of the process positively – it gives you the chance to showcase your operational and leadership skills – things like using the STAR method can help structure answers and improve confidence to ensure you are successful.
