Your rights over your personal data and how to use them.
Your rights
The UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 provides individuals with several rights over their personal data. A full list of those rights can be found on our privacy notice.
If you would like to exercise one of your rights, you can do so by emailing our data protection officer at data.protection@college.police.uk
Making a subject access request
A right of access request – also known as a subject access request – allows individuals to request what information (if any) the College holds about them.
To make a subject access request:
- download and complete our subject access request form – this provides us with enough information to process your request
- submit your completed form to our data protection officer by email at data.protection@college.police.uk
Data we do not hold
We do not have access to details of reported crimes, investigations or conviction history on our systems.
Contact your local force if you are looking for your personal data held on national police databases. For more information on how to access your personal data held by police and the criminal justice system, see the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) website.
