We’ve published responses to the recommendations made in our recent super-complaint report on the police response to stalking cases.
In September 2024, the College of Policing alongside the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) and His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) published a joint report in response to a super-complaint made by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust on behalf of the National Stalking Consortium.
Our report includes 29 recommendations to:
- chief constables
- police and crime commissioners and mayoral equivalents
- the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC)
- the Ministry of Justice
- the Home Office
- the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)
Now, these responses to the super-complaint report on the police response to stalking have been published.
