A new resource to help you understand the academic value of your College of Policing training

A new credit estimator is now available to help police officers and staff understand the academic worth of College of Policing programmes they have completed.

What the credit estimator does

The credit estimator shows the educational level and credit value of College programmes, making it easier to provide evidence and explain your learning to universities, awarding organisations and employers.

It's particularly useful if you have not undertaken an educationally accredited programme and want to demonstrate the value of your College learning when seeking formal recognition or applying for further study.

How it can help you

The credit estimator supports you to:

  • make informed decisions about future training and qualifications
  • seek formal accreditation for your College learning
  • support applications for promotion or new roles

Use the credit estimator to find the programmes you have completed and see the educational level and credit value of your learning. It currently covers a selection of programmes, with more being added as the levelling and credit process continues.
