We've upgraded our CyberTools app – now called CyberDigiTools. The updates support officers to recognise and make the most of any cyber and digital evidence and intelligence when investigating a crime.
CyberDigiTools provides the latest information, legislation and guidance. It can support you to:
- identify opportunities to secure digital intelligence and investigation at the scene
- advise and support witness and victims of crime, appropriately safeguarding them and any evidence
- be aware of emerging digital threats and opportunities
The app content is available 24/7 once downloaded on your force mobile device – regardless of signal or connectivity.
CyberDigiTools will be regularly reviewed and updated by the College, supported by a team of national subject matter experts, to ensure the content is always:
- nationally consistent
- up to date
- meets the needs of frontline policing
The upgraded app was developed jointly with the Police Digital Service (PDS). It's being deployed across all UK Home Office forces and Police Scotland, and contains local relevant legislation.
