Post-EU transition guidance released to support UK policing

The International Crime Coordination Centre (ICCC), established to provide continuity for UK law enforcement after the UK left the European Union on 31 January 2020, has updated national operational guidance now that the transition period with the EU has ended. The provisions come into effect at 11pm on 31 December 2020.

The post-transition guidance can be accessed from the College of Policing's Authorised Professional Practice (APP), the official source of professional practice on policing. 

We also provide operational guidance and practical information on international criminality on the Knowledge Hub (you will need to log in to this), where you can join the ICCC group.

Interpol

The ICCC and West Midlands Police have provided a learning package on Interpol's I-24/7 – the secure global police communications system. This is available to all police officers and staff to support them to make best use of I-24/7. Just search 'Interpol' on the College's learning platform (you will need to log in to this).

We will continue to provide clarity to police and staff. Our team of regional experts will respond to questions and issues that arise from our requirements now that the transition phase with the EU has ended.

The International Crime Bureau (INTERPOL UK) is available from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). Only INTERPOL and SIRENE (Supplementary Information Request at the National Entries) mailboxes are monitored out of hours by the National Crime Agency control centre.
